Study Visits to European Partner Universities

As part of the PhDGOV capacity-building programme, delegations conducted study visits to leading European universities, gaining practical insights into doctoral governance, supervision, quality assurance, and industry collaboration. Visits to Vrije Universiteit Brussel highlighted digitalisation and stakeholder engagement, KTH Royal Institute of Technology showcased structured doctoral training and strong industry integration, and RWTH Aachen demonstrated large-scale research infrastructure and academia–industry partnerships. Collectively, these visits provided comparative models and best practices that informed institutional reforms and strengthened the capacity of Palestinian universities to enhance doctoral education systems.
