The event focuses on higher education, scientific research, innovation, and the development of academic partnerships, while also addressing European policies related to regional and international cooperation.

During his presentation, Dr. Saleh outlined the objectives, structure, and key components of the PhDGOV project, highlighting its strategic role in strengthening the governance of doctoral programmes in Palestinian universities and aligning them with European best practices. The presentation generated strong interest and positive engagement from participants, reflecting the relevance and importance of the PhDGOV project within the broader Euro-Mediterranean higher education and academic cooperation agenda. The interaction with attendees also opened avenues for future collaboration and knowledge exchange with institutions and networks across the region.

This participation further reinforced the visibility of the PhDGOV project, a co-funded project of Erasmus Plus Program by the EU, at the international level and underscored the active role of the project and its partners in advancing doctoral education reform and academic cooperation between Palestine, Europe, and the Mediterranean region.
